In 1986, Sea Ray was acquired by the Brunswick Corporation, making it one of the world's largest manufacturers of recreational boats.

Nowadays, Sea Ray designs, manufactures, and sells a wide range of boats, from sports boats to luxury yachts, with a focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
