The roll

We are looking for a star. Someone to take our back-end to the next level and who doesn't shy away from complex challenges. No two projects are the same here, and it's precisely that variety that makes the work enjoyable.

You're the one who thinks ahead, keeps the scope sharp, and ensures things are built correctly. You don't wait for a ticket to be completely finalised, but you're on top of it yourself and remove obstacles before they become a problem. Together with the other back-enders, you ensure that complex matters are no longer complex.

One thing is crucial for us: no standing around waiting. We're looking for someone who takes charge and steps on the gas. Not waiting for instructions, but seeing for themselves what needs to be done and sorting it out. The job gets done with us, and you'll play the starring role in that.

What you with us rules

We'd rather tell you what you'll pick up than what you “need to be able to do”:

• You’ll elevate our back-end architecture to the next level and keep it maintainable, even as projects grow.
• You translate complex issues into clear, working solutions, and make them understandable for the rest of the team.
• You work with front-end developers, designers and project managers to keep the scope sharp, so everyone knows what we're building towards.
• You ensure quality: stable, secure, and scalable, not “it works on my machine”.

How we Working

We primarily work in PHP on WordPress (Bedrock), with a good amount of customisation and integrations with external APIs. No "must-do" list: if you understand these types of environments and want to improve them, you've come to the right place. We'll teach you the technology if need be, but you'll need to bring your own way of thinking.

AI is simply part of what we do. Not to take over your work, but to help you learn faster and make better decisions. An AI prototype is your first 20%; the rest – edge cases, performance and behaviour in production – is where the real work lies. That’s where your work comes in.

You work on a Mac, our established system. Short lines, clear agreements, and building something together that we are proud of.

What you brings

No degree requirements, no mandatory years of experience. Whether you're fresh out of school or have been in the game for ten years: we care about your quality and what you demonstrate.

• You think and work at a medior/senior level: you understand complex systems and make them simple.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with developers, designers, and project managers.
• You have a good foundation in AI and use it to strengthen yourself.
• Your CV won't convince us, but what you can do and how you think will.
